East Coast Railway Recruitment Notification 2017 – Apply for Scouts & Guides Quota Posts

East Coast Railway has published a notification for the recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota vacancies in East Coast Railway for the year 2017-18. Eligible Indian Nationals (active members of Bharat Scouts & Guides) may apply in prescribed application format on or before 18-12-2017 & for remote areas 02-01-2018 at 18:00 hrs. Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 18-28 years for UR, 18-31 years for OBC, 18-33 years for SC/ ST for S.No-01, 18-31 years for UR, 18-34 years for OBC, 18-36 years for SC/ ST for S.No-02 as on 01-01-2018. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination or pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate for the posts in Technical Categories, 10th standard or ITI or 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI & with relevant Scouts & guides qualifications.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test, Scouting Skill Assessment.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWDs, Women, Minorities, and Economic Backward Classes by Demand Draft/ Pay Order from any Nationalized Bank, or crossed Indian Postal Order from any Post Office (issued on or after the date of this notification) drawn in favour of “Principal Financial Advisor, East Coast Railway, payable at Bhubaneswar”.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in prescribed format affixing recent passport size photograph along with self attested Xerox copies of all certificates in proof of educational qualification, age, caste certificates with application fee by ordinary post to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), 2nd Floor, South Block , Rail Sadan, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha – 751017 by ordinary post, alternatively candidates can drop their applications directly in Drop Box placed at the office premises of Chief Personnel Officer, 2nd
